I want to work for the first one. They are probably baffled all the time--I'd fit right in!
(When I was going to Texas Tech many years ago, before it became a university, they were asking people for input about possible names, keeping in mind that no one wanted to lose their beloved double T, but that the title needed to reflect a university status.
It was inevitable that the most popular suggestion was Texas Institute of Technology.)
Last night, on CFTO, here in Toronto, there was a thing on the news about 'net speak'.
old men with cheerful tv announcer voices saying "Bee Are Bee? Oh Em Gee? Gee Two Gee? Double Yew Tee Eff? Did you understand what I just said? If not, you should stay tuned, to learn about 'net speak', and what you child *might* be saying online."
And yet it surrounds us...I *can't* look at the OMG bins without thinking of it (nor can ANYONE visit me without laughing at them), and they're on every street corner. OMG.
Haha! Those OMG Media recycle bins popped up on just about every corner here (here being Windsor, ON) a few years ago! I giggle every time I pass one...

This is funnier than the bible tract I saw once on Mill Ave. in Tempe where a charater in the tract actually used the phrase "Huge boobies!"
...of course, he was talking about funny looking birds with a thyroid imbalance, right?
